The thirty-second season of the American television series The Simpsons premiered on FOX TV last Sunday which have again set its bars high. The series never fails to make anyone laugh. The show also featured the Stranger Things fame David Harbour as the voice of Mr.Buns. There has also been a change for the voiceover of Carl Carlson by Alex Desert. Even with the newest additions and deletions, the season still gave the same old school feeling.
What happened in The Simpsons Season 32 Episode 1?
With a touch of satire to working-class life, The Simpsons have grown to become the greatest of all-time animated television series. The show revolves around the life of the Simpsons family in the fictional town of Springfield and features parodies of current issues.
The thirty-second episode named “Undercover Burns” which gets its name from CBS’s “Undercover Boss”. The Nuclear Power plant is hosting a fair titled “ Take your kids to work Day”. Homer’s boss Mr.Burns arranges the meeting for the children alone and then sends them to work in the plants. Lisa approaches Burns to make him realize his wrongdoings. He then overhears the workers speaking ill of him. Mr.Burns decides to slide into the Nuclear Power plant undercover as Fred Cranepool and becomes friends with Homer and other employees there. Seeing the lives of employees in the field, Burns decides to improve their status. But Smithers becomes jealous of this. Additionally, the new policies put forth by Mr.Burns seemingly have the potential to bankrupt the Nuclear plant. He decides to turn Burns to his old self.
In the concluding part, Homer reveals that every employer is disliked by their employees which brings the old Burns back. He orders “ Back to work, and everything is cancelled”. Both Smithers and Homer are thrilled to have their Boss back. This episode speaks of the dirtiness revolving around industries. It is quite visible with Burns ordering the children to work in the plant. He is also portrayed as someone who is always looking forward to gaining more of what he wants despite the wrong paths to take.
The audience also gets a glimpse of Homer’s life as a worker. He is a victim of discrimination because he looks like a primate monkey.
The Simpsons Season 32 Episode 2 Release Date
The Simpsons second season will premiere on Sunday, October 4, 2020, at 8:00 pm ET on FOX TV. The succeeding episodes will also be released likewise in the same schedule every Sundays. The title of the next episode is “I, Columbus.” The series can also be streamed online on the official website of FOX TV. They also have released an application which will allow the users to watch all the released episodes of all Seasons. Some episodes are also available on Amazon Prime.
