With the end of phase 3 of the Marvel Univers, a lot is coming for Marvel fans everywhere. Thought the end of Phase 3 with Spiderman: Far From Home, a lot of possibilities are out there. With the sheer number of Movies and TV Series planned as a part of Phase 4, Fans are bound to be strapped to their seats for all that is to come.
Disney+ The Nick Fury TV Series
With TV series like WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and so on planned, there’s already a lot to be excited for. However, it has been announced, that the director of S.H.I.E.L.D, the man who brought the Avengers together is getting his own series. Nick Fury will be getting his own standalone series on Disney+ Hotstar.

Not much has been revealed about the cast, release date, or even the plot. Yet, this has not stopped the fans from going crazy.
Disney+ The Nick Fury Release Date
There is no release date in sight. Having just been announced on September 25th, the show is most probably still in the earlier stages of development. However, if a standalone series about Nick Fury is happening, chances are that we will not be seeing him in the MCU Movies for a while.
The Nick Fury Cast & Plot
Concerning the cast, all that is certain is that Samuel L. Jackson will reprise the role of Nick Fury. Kyle Bradstreet from Mr Robot might write and executive produce the series. However, Nick Fury is known to have very deep connections with heroes and organizations within the MCU. This could lead to a lot of new heroes or even old fan favorites to appear on the show. Heroes like She-hulk and Ms Marvel could join in and the possibilities are limitless.
The plot of this series is unknown so far. The last time Nick Fury was seen, he was overseeing the Sentient World Observation and Response Department (S.W.O.R.D.), the organisation in charge of monitoring extraterrestrial activity. The series could show his actions in this regard. It could even show the journey of Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. or even be a mix of it all. The possibilities are endless. There are several canonic team-ups in the comics, like a crossover with Wolverine, and all of this makes it that much more exciting!
As far as the timeline goes, nothing is certain. Phase 4 is set to kick off with Black Widow, which is supposed to be a story set before Infinity War. Nick Furry’s series could be set in any timeline, and maybe even a different dimension. Anything can happen at this point.
All said and done, based on the information that we have right now, which is clearly not enough, all we can say for sure is that this show will be amazing. It is about time that Nick Furry got his time in the limelight and this show has great potential. All that’s left is to wait and watch for any new information. Only that will help us gain a better understanding of what’s to come.
