Third child and second son to President Donald Trump and his first wife Ivana Trump, Eric Federick Trump is a fourth generation American businessman and philanthropist. Eric Trump married his longtime girlfriend Lara Kea Yunaska on November 8,2014 after being engaged for more than a year. Eric got Married at Mar-a-Lago just like his brother. On September 12, 2017, the couple welcomed their first child , son “Eric Luke Trump. The couple became parents to their second child and first girl child, Carolina Dorothy Trump, on August 19, 2019. Carolina is President’s 10th grandchild.

Eric Trump started the Eric Trump Foundation, a public charity which raised money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Tenesse in 2007. In December 2016, Eric announced that he would stop fundraising for the foundation. This decision came to erase speculations that the donors were trying to get to his father through their charity works.

Controversies
In September 2020, he spread a false video in which Joe Biden appeared to show using a teleprompter which he did not. In May 2020, Eric Trump criticized the Democrats for their stay-at home campaigns. He said that it was simply a hoax put forward by Biden and his team .
He is “not a part” of the LGBT community. On September 29, 2020, Eric Trump announced that he is not part of the LGBT Community, contrary to the one he gave earlier that day. He backtracked his own statement saying that he was simply trying to rephrase what LGBT supporters have said about his father. Trump also confirmed that he is not bisexual.
