Russian Gymnast and Vladimir Putin’s Girlfriend, Alina Kabaeva, have reportedly vanished after giving birth to twins last April. Kabaeva has been linked to Putin since 2008.
Concerns regarding the gymnast popped up when she disappeared from the public eye, reported The Sun. In 2018, she had said that she was pregnant with the President. It is said that she gave birth to twin boys in Moscow last year.

According to a Russian Daily, Moskovsky Komsomolets, the entire VIP floor of the Kulakov Research Centre for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology was made available for Alina Kabaeva when she gave birth.
Alina Kabaeva is a Russian Olympic Gold Medalist and one of the most celebrated figures in the nation’s sports. She had won 2 Olympic medals, 14 World Championships and 25 European Championships. Later, she extended to Russian Politics.
Kabaeva has been actively participating in politics since 2005. Since 2005, she has been a member of the Public Chamber Of Russia. She was a State Duma Deputy representing the United Russia Party from 2007 to 2014. She became the chairwoman of the board of directors on the National media Group in 2014. Recently, she won an unshared contract to show Netflix.
Since 2008, she has been associated with the Russian President. Initially, Kabaeva was engaged to another politician David Museliani. However, they separated in 2004. In 2008, Russian weekly Moskvosky reported that Kabave and Putin were engaged. Both of them denied the rumour and the press was shut down.

There were rumours that the couple had split up later. They finally confirmed it in 2013. Vladimir Putin himself is not a stranger to sudden disappearances. He is known to be someone who is intensely obsessed with security. He had kept away his daughters from his first wife from the public eye since their birth. A source closer to him told The Sun. “Putin is an intensely private man- he has been hiding his two adult daughters under fake IDs for years.”
“Even now though he talks about them occasionally, he never names them.” and “If Alina gave birth to his children, her hiding away might be one of the strongest hints pointing to this. He is obsessive about the security of his family.”
Alina Kabaeve has been associated with the passing of many controversial laws in Russia. She voted for the Anti-Magnitsky bill banning the adoption of Russian orphans from international lands. She was also part of encouraging the Russian Gay Propoganga law which restricted non-conventional sexual relationships among minors. It was raised to be a punishable offence. All these laws were immediately put into action between 2012 and 2013.
