As you all know, Season 2 of The Boys took a different habit of releasing its episodes. In the case of Season 1, the entire episode was released at once, like that of Netflix. But for the second season, the first three episodes were released together on September 4 followed by a weekly schedule. New episodes are released every Friday. Speaking of the changes in the release schedule, one of the showrunners Eric Kripke said.

“There are so many great moments in season two, we want to give it time to marinate in season two, we want to give it time to marinate, so people can reflect on it and talk about it before they move on to the next thing and be in the conversation a little longer. I think a little anticipation for the fans is healthy.”

The Boys Season 2

The Boys is a superhero web television series adapted from the comic book of the same name. It is set in a world where superheroes are misused by a corporation called Vought International. The series focuses on The Boys trying to fight off these Superhero clubs called The Seven.

The Boys are led by Billy Butcher while The Seven are led by Homelander. The first season mainly depicts the fight between the two teams.

A lot has changed in the second season of The Boys and picks up right where it finished in season1.  Billy, who is accused of murdering the vice president, is nowhere to be found.   Watchmen rebooted, Homelander appeared to become a symbol of white power and there is an introduction of new characters. Similarly, Starlight’s issues with her mother, Maeve’s romantic life, Butcher’s love life. The second season is one excellent portrayal of good versus evil.
