The conspiracy thriller is based on the novel by Vikram Chandra of the same name. Motwane, Vikramaditya, Neeraj Ghaywan and Anurag Kashyap have directed the series jointly. Dhruv Narang, Pooja Tolani, Nihit Bhave, Vasant Nath, Bhaumik Gondaliya, and Smita Singh are writers for the series.
Sacred Games Season 3 is Happening?
Still, there is no official announcement about the production of the third season though it may also happen due to novel coronavirus in the world. The first and second, both of the seasons were featuring Saif Ali Khan and Nawazudding Siddiqui in the lead role. Radhika Apte appeared in the first season of Sacred Games as the lead lady and in the second season, she was missing. In the second, Kalki Koechlin, Pankaj Tripathi, and Ranvir Shorey were in the main roles along with Nawaz and Saif.
If there is the third instalment of the series then most of the cast members of the past seasons would reprise their roles as no one can play better than them. The fans are eagerly anticipating to watch Saif Ali Khan as Inspector Sartaj Singh, Ranvir Shorey as Shahid Khan and Nawazudding in the role of Ganesh Gaitonde.
Till now, the makers of the Sacred Games have delivered a total of 8 episodes each. The first season of crime thriller premiered on 5th July 2018 and the second on 15th August 2019 on Netflix. The third season could be expected somewhere in 2020 if the circumstances were not like this. Due to the current situation of the world, there is no announcement about the renew status.
